Dear Parishioners,

I am writing you because members of the congregation have been very uncomfortable with the heat in the sanctuary and the undercroft this summer.  As a result one of our members made a presentation during service on August 21, asking that we, as a congregation, raise funds to have an air conditioning system installed in early 2006.  The benefit would be more comfort during the summer, as well additional revenue from functions such as weddings.

Our goal during our Air Conditioning Building Fund Campaign which will run from September 2005 to December 2005 is to raise at least $25,000.  There are many ways through which you can support the campaign.  They include, but are not limited to your personal contribution, asking family, friends and co-workers for contributions, or sponsoring your own event in the undercroft.

For your convenience, a pledge form is attached.  Additional forms can be obtained from one of the ushers or printed from the website.  Your support, as we continue to do God’s work, is appreciated.  Pledge forms can be returned at any point in the campaign.

Sincerely,

Reverend Eddie Alleyne

*This fund drive will continue until we reach our goal.
